Proposal 1.Tackle-board, sledge and top for making rope, anonymous, c. 1800 - c. 1860 tools A rope shop consisting of a turning gall for beating and tensioning the strands, a head that keeps the strands apart and a sled for beating the rope. The turning gall is on a heavy ground board and has a needle for five strands; A large gear that drives four small gears in the corners is operated with a crank. The hooks to which the strands are attached are mounted on the axles of the gears and the needlework therefore ensures that the outer four rotate faster than the middle one, which also turns in the other direction. The sled has a heavy bottom and only two wheels in front; The mechanism only has a hook, where the movement of the crank is transmitted through two gears. The head has four grooves for the outer strands and a hole for the middle strand. Netherlands wood (plant material). brass (alloy). iron (metal)Lux vacuum cleaner.
