Eva Braun's Photo Albums, ca. 1913 - ca. 1944. These albums are attributed to Eva Braun (four are claimed by her friend Herta Schneider, nee Ostermeyer) and document her life from ca. 1913 to 1944. There are many photographs of Eva, her sisters and their children, Herta Schneider and her children, as well as photographs of Eva's vacations, family members and friends. Included also are photographs taken by and of Eva Braun at Hitler's chalet Berghof (or Kehlstein), photographs of Hitler and his entourage, visitors to Berghof and the scenery around Berchtesgaden, and some studio portraits of Eva and members of her family.

11/07/1972. After a long absence in our Exhibition Halls, the famous watercolorist Javier Gómez Acebo now returns to appear at the "Grin-Gho" Art Gallery in Madrid. They make up the collection of 39 Landscapes and Folkloric Prints.

Onion Cure For Baldness -- This is Constable Pengilly, 28, of Adelaide, a polio victim, who went bald - "as shiny as a billiard ball" - two years ago.An elderly man told him to try onion-juice and Pengilly preserved for five weeks.He applied the onion three times a day. He used brown onions for preference, white onions when brown scarce.Now he has hair an inch long growing on his scalp.Pengilly is delighted with the cure. January 06, 1952.

The Communist Party of Burma (Burmese: မာပြည်ကွန်မြူနစ်ပါတီ; CPB) is the oldest existing political party in Burma. The party is unrecognised by the Burmese authorities, rendering it illegal; so it operates in a clandestine manner, often associating with insurgent armies along the border of People's Republic of China. It is often referred to as the Burma Communist Party (BCP) by both the Burmese government and the foreign media. Bertil Lintner was born in Sweden in 1953 and left for Asia in 1975. He spent 1975-79 travelling in the Asia-Pacific region but he has been living permanently in Thailand since December 1979, working as a journalist for, amongst others, the Far Eastern Economic Review, the Swedish Svenska Dagbladet, and the Danish Politiken. In 1985-1987, Lintner, together with his wife Hseng Noung, a Shan national from Burma, made an 18-month, 2,275-km overland journey from northeastern India across northern rebel-held areas in Burma to China (including ten months in Kachin te

Walter Spies (15 September 1895 - 19 January 1942) was a Russian-born German primitivist painter. In 1923 he came to Java, living first in Yogyakarta and then in Ubud, Bali starting in 1927. He is often credited with attracting the attention of Western cultural figures to Balinese culture and art. As a German national in the Dutch East Indies during World War II, Spies was arrested and deported. However, a Japanese bomb hit the ship that was carrying him to Ceylon, and most of the prisoners on the ship, including Spies, drowned.
