Old and worn sheet of paper

French artists' album, c. 1880 - c. 1900 scrapbook Scrapbook in a green band. Originally it was intended to be used as a cash book. The lined sheets contain a total of 135 photos, drawings and an etching. This includes photo productions of paintings, drawings, prints and frescoes, including Jean-Louis or Jean-François Brémond, Alfred Philippe Roll, Horace Vernet, Albert Besnard, Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun, Jean-Jacques Scherrer, Georges Scherrer , Michelangelo, P. Lehoux, Jean-Léon Gérôme, R. Collin and Paul Janoudet. Furthermore, the album contains recordings of people and of sights in Rome, Genoa, Dijon, Marseille, the Alps and presumably on the French west coast. There are also photos of walls -walled walls, probably made during exhibitions or salons. It is striking that there are several recordings of a hunter, printed in various photographic techniques.
