Injured in an accident at Guadalcanal, she was permitted by medical officers to do only a few basic steps during performances for the remainder of the tour. When they picture was taken she was entertaining a big allied audience in the new Halindre with a USO - camp shows ***** that included Hollywood star Ray Milland and starlet Mary Elliott.
