For little Yvonne Sugden is acknowldged by experts as chief danger to Valda Osborn who is defending her British women's figure skating championship at Streatham Ice Rink. Yvonne was seven when she saw skating for the first time. Her parents had taken her to a Kensington cinema to see a Disney feature; there were long queues and it was raining ... so Mrs. Sugden suggested that they watch the skaters at Queen's Club instead.
