Journalists Journalists. - although the photo was published on December 7, 1965, its date corresponds to December 1964. It is about the Sevillian radio team that confronted the Press team, to benefit activities in favor of children sponsored by the Seville Athenaeum. In the image appear, among others, Emilio Segura, third from the left of Pie; Aurelio de la Viesca, fifth from the left of Pie; Seventh from the left of Pie, Agustín Embuena, and ninth from the Left, Manolo Moreno; Crouching, seventh from the left, Alfonso Eduardo Pérez Orozco; Eighth from the Left, Francisco García Montes "Juan Tribuna", and Ninth, Manuel Alonso Vicedo. The NACAs Aircraft Engine Research Laboratorys baseball team photographed with director Raymond Sharp. The Exchange, which operated the non-profit cafeteria, sponsored several sports teams that participated in local leagues. The laboratory also had several intramural sports leagues. The baseball team, seen here in 1943, was suspended shortly thereafter as many of its members entered the military during World War II. The team was reconstituted after the war and became somewhat successful in the Class A Westlake League. After winning the championship in 1949 and 1950, the team was placed in the more advanced Middleberg League where they struggled.
