Sturgess Through to Semi Final - Sturtgess makes a backhand return during the game.In a grim battle, fought out on the nerve-racking centre court of Wimdledon, London Eric Sturgess of South Africa knocked American Frank Parker out of the men's Singles thus afternoon June 27. the Beginning of the end game in the fourth set. Parker was then leading by 2 sets to 1, but the South African broke through his service to lead 3-1, and then through full of confidence to take the set 6-1, levelling the game at 2 sets all.
