Sunlit Nights Land Cruise's train. Dollar train is a cruise train that mainly promoted foreign tourists from Stockholm to northern Sweden during the 1950s and 1960s. The train emerged as an attempt to reduce post -war currency deficiency and they were primarily aimed at strong American tourists.

God-Speed To Racing Yacht Says Lord Mayor.Photo Shows:- Wearing a sailor's peaked cap, the Lord Mayor (Sir Leslie Boyce), sings the visitor's book aboard the Samuel Pepys at tower Pier. He and his crew have signed on the Brittany as one shilling a voyage sailors. London: Aboard the Royal Naval Sailing Association's yacht - the Samuel Pepys went the Lord Mayor of London, Sir Leslie Boyce, to-day. His visit was to wish the vessel God-speed before she leaves tower Pier on her way to Bermuda. The Samuel Pepys is the Navy's second entry in the Royal ocean racing club's Bermuda-Plymouth race, in which she set up a record in 1950. May 01, 1952.
