The Kirnitzschtalbahn is an interurban tramway in Saxon Switzerland in Saxony. The metre-gauge railway runs from Bad Schandau through the scenic Kirnitzschtal valley to the Lichtenhain waterfall. The railway, which has been in operation since 1898, is primarily used for tourist purposes. Today it is operated by Oberelbische Verkehrsgesellschaft Pirna-Sebnitz mbH (OVPS)
