The one with a red tip are the S proteins or spicules. envelope proteins (E) are in yellow. The membrane proteins (M), simplified here, are on the section in intermediate green. The N proteins (pink balls) are attached to the helical viral RNA (in pink) which constitute the nucleocapsid, forming a compact structure by the assembly of the capsid around the genome.
