Iconoclasm in a Church, 1630 painting Imagination of a iconoclasm in a church. Saints of saints of their pedestals are pulled in a church interior and gravestones are destroyed. The dramatic scene is gaded extremely left from behind a pillar by a clericus in Habijt. The interior does not go back to an existing structure, but was carefully constructed by Van Veelen. The meticulous application of the central perspective, where all lines come together in one disappearance, controls the performance. In the structure of the composition, Van Parts granted a major role to the functioning of the light, which comes in the building wonderfully from the north.
