KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. - Equipment from the Thermal Protection System Facility (TPSF), damaged by Hurricane Frances, is relocated to a hangar and storage facility near the KSC Shuttle Landing Facility. Previously, this hangar was used to house the Space Shuttle Columbia debris. Located in Launch Complex 39, the TPSF is used to manufacture both internal and external insulation products for the Space Shuttle orbiters. The storm's path over Florida took it through Cape Canaveral and KSC property during Labor Day weekend.

Scott Molle, materials handler with the Fort McCoy Logistics Readiness Center Food Program Management Office/ Fort McCoy Supply Subsistence Management Office, uses a forklift to move items in the building 490 warehouse April 4, 2023, at Fort McCoy, Wis. Molle and his teammates were part of an Army Food Management Assistance Team (FMAT) Inspection that was completed of the Food Program Management Office and Supply Subsistence Management Office. The FMAT inspection took place March 29-31 at Fort McCoy, said Fort McCoy Food Program Manager Andy Pisney. The FMAT inspects each installation food program every 18 months in the Continental United States and every 12 months in overseas locations. The objectives of the FMAT inspections are to assist in raising the quality of the installation food service program and to increase the effectiveness by identifying programs that are functioning well or that may require improvement.
