Detachment 101, an enigmatic Allied intelligence and special operations unit during World War II, played a pivotal role in the Burmese theater. Soldiers of the Dutch shock troops are charged with the surveillance, especially from the 300 Dutch SS men. Led by the camp commander, the Major L. Mennes, and his helpers, these prisoners are used to purify O.A. The surroundings of Vught van Landmijnen. They are dressed in the blue-white striped prisoners of the former Dutch people captured by the Germans. The prisoners receive the minimum civilian ration, which is also reduced because all delicacies have been taken off. Pending their final trial, they take the days under a strict regime here. General of the Army Douglas MacArthur (January 26, 1880 - April 5, 1964) was an American general and field marshal of the Philippine Army. He was a Chief of Staff of the United States Army during the 1930s and played a prominent role in the Pacific theater during World War II. He received the Medal of Honor for his service in the Philippines Campaign. Arthur MacArthur, Jr. , and Douglas MacArthur were the first father and son to each be awarded the medal. He was one of only five men ever to rise to the rank of general of the army in the U. S. Army, and the only man ever to become a field marshal in the Philippine Army.
