Eva Braun's Photo Albums, ca. 1913 - ca. 1944. These albums are attributed to Eva Braun (four are claimed by her friend Herta Schneider, nee Ostermeyer) and document her life from ca. 1913 to 1944. There are many photographs of Eva, her sisters and their children, Herta Schneider and her children, as well as photographs of Eva's vacations, family members and friends. Included also are photographs taken by and of Eva Braun at Hitler's chalet Berghof (or Kehlstein), photographs of Hitler and his entourage, visitors to Berghof and the scenery around Berchtesgaden, and some studio portraits of Eva and members of her family.

Post War Planning and Reconstruction in Britain- Grenadier Guardsmen Build Emergency Housing in Windsor Guardsmen working on the construction of temporary houses. These men are training for civilian careers as builders, plumbers, plasterers and electricians.

Anefo photo collection. Round round ijsselmeer on car plugs. It started with a bet, a dairy worker from Sint Maartensvlot bridge, a village in the head of Noord-Holland, betting with his hospita to step up a scooter to Oosterwolde in Friesland. That eventually did not go through, but it turned out to be the upmaat for a round to the IJsselmeer on the scooter of six colleagues. On Monday, November 15, in the morning at half past seven, the starting shot was released by Mrs. Lambarts, the hospita involved. The first stage was particularly heavy with hard headwind and stretching rain over the Afsluitdijk. But with a daily 80 km, the monster tour could be completed in six days. November 15, 1954. Detachment 101, an enigmatic Allied intelligence and special operations unit during World War II, played a pivotal role in the Burmese theater. Operating deep in the jungles of Burma, their mission was multi-faceted, encompassing guerrilla warfare, espionage, and sabotage against Japanese forces. Comprising a diverse group of individuals, from OSS agents to indigenous fighters, they effectively disrupted Japanese supply lines, gathered critical intelligence, and supported resistance movements.

US Troops in An English Village- Everyday Life With the Americans in Burton Bradstock, Dorset, England, UK, 1944 Pfc Edward Shea (of 27 Wentworth Street, Dorchester, Massachusetts) fills up his jeep in the sunshine at the petrol station in Burton Bradstock, Dorset. According to the original caption, the gas station has been taken over by the army. Pfc Shea is helped by local boys Freddy and Chris Kerley, Barry Kneale and Billy Hubbard: one boy works the petrol pump, one holds back the seat, one holds the hose and another cleans the windscreen.
