Striking are the thick leaves or C-Voluten, which form arches around the center axis at some distance from each other. Under each bow is a similar composition with an oval (chalice) flour on a slightly bent stem. The fields between the arches are filled alternately, including with a U-shaped frame in which eight rosette flowers form a circle, crowned by a composition with C-volutes and ovals. The motifs are made in netslag and linen battle with openwork edges and recesses. Very sparingly use has been made of contour threads to accentuate some motif parts. The motifs are largely connected by a grid, a Parisian soil. The motifs under the arches are connected by a potented braid ground.
