Wall Painting depicting, the Goddess Isis with Nefertari, Great Wife of Pharaoh Ramesses II, Inside the tomb (QV66) of Nefertari, in Egypt's Valley of the Queens. It was discovered by Ernesto Schiaparelli in 1904. It is called the Sistine Chapel of Ancient Egypt. In the Valley of the Queens, Nefertari's tomb once held the mummified body and representative symbolisms of her, like what most Egyptian tombs consisted of. Now, everything had been looted except for two thirds of the 5,200 square feet of wall paintings. ca. 1255 BC

Dragging a Statue of Thutmose I 1911; original ca. 1294-1279 B.C. Twentieth Century; original New Kingdom, Ramesside Norman de Garis Davies Thutmose I is represented here as a statue, as indicated by the men pulling him on a sledge. His black skin was initially understood to represent the ebony wood from which the statue was possibly made, but it most likely relates to the kings deified state. Cults were established to worship kings during their reign. The cult of Thutmose I persisted for centuries after his death, a rare phenomenon, and this statue of the king is at the center of a scene depicting offerings and rites honoring him. Royal figures are sometimes depicted with a dark complexion, as the color black represents rebirth and regeneration-like the black soil of the Nile Valley.. Dragging a Statue of Thutmose I. A photograph taken within Tomb KV1, located in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt, used for the burial of Pharaoh Ramesses VII of the Twentieth Dynasty. Although it has been open since antiquity, it was only adequately investigated and cleared by Edwin Brock in 1984 and 1985. The single corridor tomb itself is located in Luxor's West Bank and is small in comparison to other tombs of the twentieth dynasty. Usermaatre Setepenre Meryamun Ramesses VII (also written Ramesses and Ramesses) was the sixth pharaoh of the twentieth dynasty of Ancient Egypt. He reigned from about 1136 to 1129 BC and was the son of Ramesses VI. The decoration within the passageway of the tomb contains illustrations from the Book of Gates, the Book of Caverns as well as the Book of the Earth. The walls of the burial chamber are decorated with extracts from the Book of the Earth.

Funerary Stela of the Royal Sealer Indi and His Wife, the Priestess of Hathor Mutmuti of Thinis ca. 2100-2090 BC First Intermediate Period The tall-narrow format indicates this stela probably originates from Naga ed-Deir, and several features point to the style of 9th Dynasty stelae from the site. The Royal Sealer Indi and his wife Mutmuti, a priestess of Hathor, stand before a vertical spread of offerings to the right of Indy's staff. Before his face a servant pours beer in a cup for Indi, and at his feet another holds his sandals. The stela includes an invocation offering but also a statement by Indi that he was excellent in battle, beloved by his father, praised by his mother, loved by his brothers, and appreciated by his relations.
