Fragments of a terracotta kylix (drinking cup) ca. 515 B.C. Attributed to Euthymides Exterior, gods in OlymposThough fragmentary, the cup is exceedingly significant. It is signed by Euthymides as both painter and potter. None of the figural decoration of the interior is preserved, but the surviving pieces show that it was covered with a coral red slip. The subject of the exterior may have been the birth of Athena.The other fragments belonging to the cup are 1982.386 and L.1983.49, lent by the Monumenti, Musei e Gallerie Pontificie.. Loulan was an ancient kingdom based around an important oasis city already known in the 2nd century BCE on the northeastern edge of the Lop Desert. Loulan was an ancient kingdom along the Silk Road. In 108 BCE, the Han Dynasty forces defeated the armies of the Loulan kingdom and made it into a tributary state. In 77 BCE, Loulan came under the control of the Han Dynasty and was given the Chinese name of Shanshan. The site is now completely surrounded by desert.

RESTAURACION " HABITACION E " CASA DE LOS GRIFOS- Complutum ( Alcalá de Henares).La "Casa de los Grifos" es una domus del siglo I dc y que estuvo en uso hasta el siglo IV. Perteneciente al conjunto arqueológico de la ciudad Hispano - romana de Complutum, siendo una de las mejores Domus de la ciudad, que pertenecia a una importante familia complutense dedicada a actividades comerciales y artesanales , con un amplio interior rodeado con un peristilo de doce columnas que articulaba una serie de estancias, en ellas se ha encontrado pintura mural en la que destacan unos " Grifos". En el 2008 se ha restaurado la denominada estancia E, cuyo uso seria recibir a los clientes ( Tablinium ) abierta al peristilo, las pinturas son de estilo pompeyano y representan una arquictetura figurada ( 7,60x 4,90 )metros.

Relief fragments from procession of attendants ca. 2051-2030 B.C. Middle Kingdom Neferu was most likely the first queen and perhaps also sister of Nebhepetre Mentuhotep II. Her plundered tomb, excavated by the Metropolitan Museum of Art between 1923 and 1931, lay outside the king's temple precinct at Deir el Bahri. It was visited as a shrine in the Eighteenth Dynasty, and at some point it was used as a quarry for the fine limestone covering the walls.The carving of Neferus surviving reliefs is varied in quality, with the finest example being a succession of female bearers (see 26.3.353g). The extenuated proportions of the figures, and the elaborate patterns contrasting with smooth planes, represent the height of the Eleventh Dynasty archaic style. The background was left unpainted, while the figures were either detailed or covered with orange, pink, purple, blue, green, white or black paint.
