The front is a multicolored roller-printed cotton showing medallions with trompe-l'oeil relief busts of George Washington. Each medallion is topped with an eagle and surrounded with a wreath of flowers. The back is of a dark brown calico with a lozenge design in brown and red. The piece is fan quilted overall.. Cushion cover of natural applicators, needle lace - Brussels gauze side - applicated on machining tulle. In the middle of a tulle rectangle, within a wreath, the oval coat of arms of Wurtemberg, held by a crowned climbing lion and a climbing deer and covered by a crowned helmet. The large initials, S and W are applied under an empty banderole. The wreath is made up of a winding rosary, interrupted by six standing oval medallions, which are covered by a dome with uivorous, rushed to the center. A large oval middle is saved by the edge, which consists of larger oval ovals and symmetrical branches; Large roses, carnations, blossom branches and long, incised leaves are growing on the branches. A soft rose satin edge completed the cushion cover. The corresponding bedspread has almost the same pattern on a larger scale. The tulip and rose represent love in the Language of Flowers.The cobweb is also referred to as a beehive, a birdcage, and a flower cage. The circumference of a four-pointed star is in the square center, in a very open diamond-shaped grid. Around the square midfield runs a straight list of a braid soil, where the braids form whole and semicircles, which provides a kind of spider web pattern. The repeating pattern of the wide outer edge forms deep slots and consists of a row of impeller-shaped flowers with seven flower leaves. Under every flower is an oval scraper of braids, finished with pointed lobes. In the oval scallop a thin handle with spitsoval leaves made in vobling on either side. This motif with leaves in shape stroke also emphasizes the right list and then stands in between the flowers, with a more or less rectangular flat, including a range such as a shell, finished with pointed lobes. In 1474, for example, Caterina Pico da Carpi had seven ivory combs in her wedding trousseau. This one is decorated on both sides with animals and birds, and the center of one side has the amorous device of a flaming heart.Combs were very much part of the pictorial imagery of the beautiful woman, not always in a virtuous context.
