The ovals are connected by a braid with a picot on both sides. And between the rows of ovals a tire runs over the center of the strip with an oval grid. Top and bottom of the strip are straight finished with similar but narrower tires with a single row of oval meshes. The wires alternately form a heart surrounded by six checks and a diamond surrounded by four circles. Along the bottom of the strip, there is always a trapezoidal motif between these consecutive motifs, with a small recess in the center. The hearts, diamonds and trapezia are made in linen battle with openwork edges and the contours of which are formed by the thick wires.
