The first prince of Lu (1568-1614), brother of Emperor Shenzhong (Wanli), was an immensely rich man, and hundreds of qin were made for his household and descendants in the last years of the Ming dynasty. All bear the inscription of the Princedom of Lu, and all are numbered. About ten Prince Lu qin are extant; the one in the Metropolitan Museum, number 18, dated 1634, is the earliest. The highest-numbered Prince Lu qin known is number 295. It is an overnail flat -bottomed pointed hole with straight, falling Stevens. Field beams indicate a head deck, and the model has a front and back pile with shutters. There is a roasting spindle on the back pile, two pump pipes on the forecourt. In the spacious, a part is shot shot. The Zeeg rises to both ends, the model has one barkhout. A mast track, a mast holder and chain putters of the rig are indicated. The model is a reconstruction of the vessel that was discovered on 22 February 1822 in Capelle in the Langstraat and then dug up. It is made entirely of material from the original ship. On the sides, the inside of the lid and in the interior with the drawers, these tifles come back. On the outside of the lid is a rosette centrally in the oval.
