The bitter (between 8 and 22 November) and Hr.Ms. The inhabitant of Zeeland. A portion of the squadron departed from Den Helder, another part from Rotterdam. The journey went VA Brest, Gibraltar, Livorno, La Spezia, Lerici, La Specia, Gibraltar, Falmouth, Plymouth and Portland back to Den Helder. On Hr.Ms. De Zeeuw (1951-1964) (EX-USS EISNER The 192) the crew stops according to parade roller.

The tugs in the picture are the " Turmoil" and the "Englishman"At half past one this morning the towing cable between the flying enterprise and the tug " Turmoil " parted. Since then she has been adrift with Carlsen and Kenneth Dancy, the mate of the " Turmoil" still Aboard . The latest reported position of the flying enterprise is some 30 miles south of Lizard, Cornwall. She is rolling heavily sometimes almost reaching the Horizontal. Much of the maindeck is under water. Alarm message investigation and rescue service. 39 nautical miles to the west of Helgoland is a collision between the Norwegian tanker Anne Mildred Brøvig and the English coastal Pentland. The Norwegian tanker is sinking. Around 16,000 tons of crude oil in the North Sea has ended up in the collision. A grumpman tracker of airplane squadron 2 (4) and a Neptune of airplane squadron 320 are on the spot.

Dog's-Eye View of An Important Australian ***** -- Between December and March each year, at the height of the brief Antarctic summer, the Australian National Antarctic Research Expedition relief ship Kista Dan visits all three of Australia's Antarctic research stations on Macquarie and Heard Islands and at Mawson, on the Antarctic Mainland. On February 9 this year she pulled into the tiny harbour at Mawson. During the next three weeks she offloaded 450 tons of stores, and the men of the old and new parties completed an extensive building programme which more than doubled the number of building on the station.
