George Washington and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5, provide a combat-ready force that protects the collective maritime interest of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.

The H-Hour CBRN Disaster Response Training Tool Kit developed by the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense sits on display as part of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Commands Capability Days event, Fort Detrick, Md., April 5, 2023.
