The cruelty of the bull, 1647; Stiers Wreetheyd, pegs to master and wife, and wonderfully consists of redemption 'Hunnes Kinds, shit to Sardam. Illustration of the events known as the cruelty of the bull, 1647. De Boer and his pregnant wife that were attacked by a bull on 29 August 1647 in Zaandam. The pregnant woman is taken on the horns in which the child is hurled out of the belly. The print shows an interior in which the deadly wounded farmer and farmer. In the background you can see in two scenes how the man and the woman are attacked by the bull and how the bull is finally finished. Under the show a description of the events, different verses about the protagonists and a statement of the doctor concerned, in 5 columns.
