Barriers erected at the entrance of Ebbing ANG Base help ensure that all assets within are safe and secure from any outside threats. Ebbing is home for the 188th Fighter Wing, Arkansas Air National Guard, Fort Smith Arkansas. The precautions are part of Operation NOBLE EAGLE. NOBLE EAGLE is a partial mobilization of the reserves for homeland defense and civil support missions in response to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 at the New York World Trade Center and the Pentagon. U.S. Air Force Airmen, assigned to the Ohio National Guards 180th Fighter Wing, transports a pallet of cargo during a large-scale readiness inspection, Aug. 8, 2022, at the base in Swanton, Ohio. The Airmen are part of the Arrival and Departure Airfield Control Group, whose primary function is to properly weigh, preform center of balance calculations, and ensure hazardous cargo is safe for flight. The exercise was a full-scale assessment of the rapid generation and movement of personnel and equipment, utilizing a 24-hour operation concept. The wing was evaluated on its ability to pack, prepare and deploy mission-ready personnel, aircraft and support equipment, while operating in a contested and degraded environment.

Formerly known as Wendover Air Force Base, the location was the initial training range for the 509th Composite Group during World War II. The sale, coordinated by the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR), allowed DFMWR to sell off unused or dated items that were on inventory to the general public. A sale like this is conducted once or twice a year.

Training operations are shown April 9, 2022, at Fort McCoy, Wis. The operations shown only feature a small portion of hundreds of troops completing weekend training at the installation in early April 2022. Fort McCoys motto is to be the “Total Force Training Center.” Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin. The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services nearly every year since 1984.

Exercise operations are shown Aug. 12, 2022, at Fort McCoy, Wis., for the 86th Training Division's Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) 86-22-02. The exercise took place in August 2022 at Fort McCoy at various locations throughout the installation. Around 4,000 service members participated in the exercise. The CSTX is a joint training event executed in a live, virtual, and constructive integrated training environment where service members test their tactical and technical skills.
