Whiting had a Space Command Chaplain Team and Space Command Guardians visiting along with him for them to have a chance to see the mission and hear from counterparts. The Clear Space Force members provide strategic missile warning, missile defense, and Upgraded Early Warning Radar as an integral part of deterrence in support of Homeland Defense. Clear SFS is home to Arctic Airmen and Guardians assigned to the 13th and 213th Space Warning Squadrons, providing 24/7 missile warning, missile defense, and space domain awareness.

The Blanchfield Army Community Hospital(BACH) recently hosted Michael Stephens, Dean of Lincoln Memorial University's School of Medical Sciences; Matthew Huff, Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine's Associate DIO and Director of Post-Graduate Affairs; Christopher King, Vanderbilt University's Health Professions Advisor; and Soldiers with the 2nd Medical Recruiting Battalion out of Redstone Arsenal, as part of 2nd Medical Recruiting Battalion mission to highlight opportunities in the U.S. Military for future healthcare providers. The group toured clinics at BACH on Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to show the diversity of healthcare opportunities and how medical students can benefit from military service.

Leadership from the 142nd Operations Group (OG) and the Operations Support Squadron conduct a redesignation ceremony, changing the Operations Support Flight to the Operations Support Squadron (OSS), Sept. 9, 2022, Portland Air National Guard Base, Oregon. During the Ceremony the guideons were switched out to visually represent the change from Flight to Squadron. 142nd OG commander, Col. Aaron Mathena, plans to continue growing the OSS to be the most it can be. Currently the squadron is comprised of 40 members but the intention is to expand it to 50 in the near future. The function of the OSS is to provide training and development, planning, scheduling and to manage life support activities in support of flying operations.

The delegation, led by New Jersey Rep. Frank Pallone and consisting of members of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, received a capabilities briefing from U.S. Ambassador to Greece Geoffrey R. Pyatt and NSA Souda Bay Commanding Officer Rafael Facundo. They also took a familiarization tour of NSA Souda Bay facilities and the Marathi NATO Pier Facility.
