More British Prisoners From Korea Arrive Home, Scenes At Waterloo Rifleman Patrick May, with his wife on left, on his right his mother-in-law Mrs. F. Pratt. About 150 prisoners of war from Korea have arrived back in this country on the "Empire Orwell". Home Again! -- Fusilier G.S. Hodkinson, D.C.M. of Bermondsey, poses with a happy and proud mother on the tarmac at Lyneham RAF Station this afternoon, after a RAF plane had brought home 22 of the British prisoners of war recently released in Korea. Immediately after he had been freed it was announced that Fusilier Hodkinson had been awarded the D.C.M. for the part he played in the action during which he was capture. May 1, 1953.
