Commander Cross of the Order of the Bath in Red Leather Box, Rundell Bridge & Rundell, 1816 box Ordet mark in the form of a Malthezer cross with centrally three in red, white and green enamelled crowns (England, Scotland and Wales) within a red enameled edge with the display: Tria Juncta in Uno. Around a green enamelled wreath of two branches with the blue enamelled banderolle on the underside: "Ich serving". Hereby a red -leather case with velvet lining. When the protagonist of the story (possibly Narihira himself) comes upon a marsh of blossoming irises, he composes a poem beginning each line with a syllable from the Japanese word for iris (kakitsubata)Catholic mass.
