The Abraham Lincoln Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability through alliances and partnerships while serving as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region. SAN DIEGO (May 1, 2019) Sailors and Marines aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) depart Naval Base San Diego, May 1, 2019, for a scheduled deployment. Boxer is the flagship of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group, which also includes the amphibious transport dock ship USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26) and the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49), as well as the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). The ARG/MEU team will conduct maritime security operations, crisis response operations, theater security cooperation and forward naval presence operations while deployed.

CHANGI, Singapore (May 13, 2017) The littoral combat ship USS Coronado (LCS 4) moors in Changi, Singapore, in preparation for the International Maritime Defense Exhibition. Coronado is on a rotational deployment in U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility, patrolling the region's littorals and working hull-to-hull with partner navies to provide 7th Fleet with the flexible capabilities it needs now and in the future.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Nov. 13, 2018) The littoral combat ship USS Sioux City (LCS 11) transits the Severn River before it arrives at the U.S. Naval Academy. Sioux City, slated for commissioning Nov. 17, will be the thirteenth littoral combat ship to enter the fleet and the sixth of the Freedom variant. It is the first ship named for Sioux City, the fourth largest city in Iowa.

Twenty-six nations, 38 ships, four submarines, more than 170 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 29 to Aug. 4 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. The worlds largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationships among participants critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the worlds oceans. RIMPAC 2022 is the 28th exercise in the series that began in 1971.
