CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (April 2, 2022) Forward deployed military members serving on Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti (CLDJ) participate in Running with the Goats 5K/3k Run/Walk, hosted by the CLDJ Chiefs Mess, that started and finished at the base Goat Locker. CLDJ serves as an expeditionary base for U.S. military forces providing support to ships, aircraft and personnel that ensure security throughout Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia. CLDJ enables maritime and combat operations in the Horn of Africa while fostering positive U.S.-Africa relations.

KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Staff Sgt. Andrew Smith, 361st Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron, sprints to the finishline during the second workout of day two of the 2011 Afghan Games at the Boardwalk Sept. 10, 2011. During the first workout of day two, participants had to carry water jugs 400 meters, flip tires 50 meters, perform 50 burpees, flip the tire 50 meters and carry a sandbag 400 meters. Twelve National Guard Soldiers are competing in the Region IV Best Warrior Competition May 11-15, 2022, at Camp Ripley, Minnesota. The 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, hosts the Army Ten-Miler event on Sept. 25th, 2022, in Drawsko Pomorskie, Poland. Events like these continue to build partnership between GREWOLF and the local population of Poland.

More than 37,000 people registered to attend the NASA Langley open house. Starting with the Annual 5K Moon Walk Run and the talented Nils Larson, X59 pilot and Astronaut Victor Glover reunited at Langleys hangar and hosted by Center Director Clayton Turner.
