Albesto smoke of needle side with horns of abundance, anonymous, c. 1900 Albound smoke of natural-colored needle side: sedan side or Argentan side. Pattern with flowers, fruits, shells and horns of abundance. The motifs are made with feston stitches with recesses, decorative stitches and decorative land. Parts are accentuated with cordons in various motives. The motifs are connected by a hexagonal Maas soil. The meshes are founded and provided with picots. Schulpen edges along all sides come from the pattern and are finished with picots. . Palens scarf woven from multicolored wool. Model: Elongated, with black mirror. Along the short edges solid laps in red, black, white, light blue, orange, pink and green. Pattern: an outer edge of cartouches. An Arabesk flower and a carnation of an aco-shaped inner edge. The middle pattern in said colors is symmetrical to a vertical and a horziontale axis. From the short sides a niche with a pawned pointed arch is aimed at the center and connects to two overdwed palmets, which cut out both the mirror and the edge. The large niche is made up of smaller, one of which is concentric and external heart-shaped leaves. In addition to the niche, an eight loop of two Mir-I-Bothas. There is an imitation Persian signature in the mirror.

Pair of bed curtains early 18th century British British wool embroidery, known as crewel embroidery, was a nearly ubiquitous method of decorating furnishing textiles from the 16th through the 18th centuries. Wool could easily be dyed with the natural dyes of the period in a wide array of vivid colors. In the late 17th and early 18th centuries, one of the most popular forms was variations on the Tree of Life motif, inspired by the colorful painted cotton palampores of the same design that were imported into Britain. This pair of bed curtain panels is exceptional for its unusual design, which is more closely related to woven silk textiles of the period. On this grand scale, the leaves also hark back to late medieval decorative cabbage-leaf verdure tapestries. The blue and white palette of the embroidery certainly reflects the immense popularity of the Chinese export and Dutch Delft ceramics that were avidly collected in Britain.These curtain panels would have formed part of a set of hang
